Copper nuts are classified according to the conditions of their embedded nuts, one of which is called hot melt copper nut. As the name suggests, the forming method of hot melt copper nut is the forming of copper nut in the hot melt machine. The material of hot melt copper nut is usually made of C3604 lead-free brass and C3604 quick cut brass as base material.
The way of embedding hot melt copper nut is usually by adding high temperature and hot pressing into the pre-set holes of plastic, and then forming threads through cooling. The hot-melt machine heated the copper to about 90 degrees Celsius, which raised the temperature inside the copper nut and pressed the copper nut into the plastic part. Finally, with the handle pressed, the plastic piece is melted into a copper nut, and a hot melt copper nut is formed.
The volume of hot melt copper nut is generally not large. It is usually used in the field of electronic products.
